Rooms at New Orleans' Burgundy Bed & Breakfast
The
names of our
"Red room", "White room" and
"Blue room" correspond with the decor of the
rooms and - of course - with the colors of the American flag.
The "Front room"
was later converted into a fourth
guest room. Each room has a private
bath and a queen-size
(double) bed; the "White room"
and the "Blue room" each
have a twin (single) bed as well, and
are
therefore suitable for triple occupancy.
Each room has individually controlled
air conditioning and heating units, a
closet or armoire (wardrobe / cedar
robe), a writing desk and chair, a
television (basic cable) with VCR and DVD player, alarm clock radio / CD player and
a telephone (shared line).
Wireless internet is available
throughout the house. Smoking is restricted to the back porch and the
courtyard.
The Red room has a queen bed and a bath with a
claw-foot bathtub (with a shower). This room has a private entrance
from the back porch, but also an entrance from the galley kitchen.
The White room
is off the parlor.
It has a queen bed, a single bed and a modern bath with shower only.
The Blue
room has a queen bed, a single bed and a bath with a modern tub (with a
shower). It is off the dining
room.
The Front room is off the kitchen. It has
a queen bed and a bath with shower only.

Breakfast
At the Burgundy
Bed and Breakfast in New Orleans we serve a continental breakfast in
the dining room, on the rear porch or in the courtyard. Aside from
coffee, tea, juice, cereals, fruit and jams, we feature bagels and freshly-baked
bread, muffins,
biscuits or croissants.
Coffee is available all day on a self-serve basis. Refrigerator,
microwave and toaster oven are available in the galley kitchen for
our guests' use.
